This drawing ~Saved~ their Homestead.
The Story:
Talking with Mr. & Mrs. Wilkins we setup a time to meet and discuss this "project" he had for me. Upon arrival, I was greeted with smiles, excitement, and TONS of old photos.
For an hour we poured over those photos. Mr. Wilkins explained to me that each of them showed buildings that existed on the farm he grew up on.
From the tobacco barn
to the corncrib
he had photos of each of the individual place, but not a single photo of the ~entire homestead~.
Since none of the buildings were standing anymore... the homestead only existed completely in his memory.
His "project" for me, was to create that complete image he had in his memory.
After manyyyyyy hours I finally finished the drawing of "Their Homestead." Finally, we met again for delivery. His reaction was ~priceless~
He had it in his hands... paused, silent, staring... then said with a sigh of relief and disbelief "It's exactly how I remember it."
We had saved the Homestead he grew up on. It existed in his hands, and not just in his memory.

The next 1-2 business days, and you recieve tracking information once the package is on the way!How will you package my order?
Small prints : Will be sent in card backed envelopes and wrapped in tissue or newsprint.
Medium & Large Prints: Will be wrapped in tissue or newsprint and rolled into cardboard tubes. If you’ve ordered multiple prints I will wrap them all together.
** I don’t send larger prints in flat packages as theres much more likelihood of damage when sent flat.
(I recommend removing your prints from the tube as soon as you receive them, to allow them time to uncurl. It can help to place them flat under a heavy book!)
