Behind the Roxboro museum, this tobacco barn sits tucked away. I have drove by it many times before, but this time it was practically asking to be drawn. Pulling in the drive, I took a photo and went home to draw it right away. It was, and is, one of those places that just ~feels~ like Roxboro.
Pen captures the eclectic sign that naturally pulls attention into the drawing. Then the long twisted tree branch organically frames the top of the rustic building. A piece of artwork that is so "Roxboro" even if the old tobacco sign wasn't announcing it proudly.
