Graduated North Carolina State University with a degree in Applied Nutrition. Here, I learned I strongly dislike school. My escape became drawing. My party trick was caricatures and my pocket pad became my coffee shop here.
Working full time and continuing to draw with pen and ink... taking it more and more seriously. Dreaming of more.
I hear about a local craft market. Giddily, I pay $25 and sign up. Make prints and package all of my existing artwork. Scramble to get everything together and Gray Works was created.
Finding more markets to participate in, growing on social media, and completing any and all commissions I can get (barn quilts, pen and ink, logos, etc.) while still working full time.
A friend of mine was opening a pottery studio. So, I asked if she wanted to hire me to paint a mural in her space. She said yes, and I haven't looked back since.
